We service companies all over the US and bill our time. I use to have to keep manual records which is real pain. This is almost perfect. The only things on my wish list are the ability to sync specific locations with an iCal calendar and the option to round up or down by a specified amount of time (nearest half hour for example). Otherwise this app is great and will save me a ton of time.

By far the best gps based time/location app currently available. Highly intuitive, incredibly accurate and amazing support!

Not the prettiest app in the store, but it gets the job done with no noticeable battery drain.

No communication returned by the developer to feedback or questions in weeks. Look and feel of the app is great however many functions need work. The smallest radius allowed is 100m which is rather large when trying to differentiate between buildings on a campus. The app adds the gps accuracy radius to your position and checks you Im to anything inside that. So if the current gps accuracy is 1000m you will be checked in to any location within at least 1050m. This results in too many false positives. Please add options: -to scan for ibeacons to add UUIDs. -allow use of ibeacon UUIDs that do not have proximity set up. -use of wifi SSID or MAC address as geolocation. -allow <100m radius. -option to only trust gps when accuracy is < x. -option to limit gps radius. (Accuracy reports as 1000m but treat as 100m) -option to report device accelerometer status (idle or in motion) when at a specific location. Does not seem to impact battery life! A big plus. Export feature is great. Would like to see an option to automatically export. Daily or weekly to email or Dropbox.

background update does only work occasionally. when another app (e.g navigation) uses the GPS it does not track and only updates the location when you open it. useless for me. I cannot trust that the app tracks all my working hours.

As a temp worker that has to log hours every week, this is a lifesaver. I use location tracking with this app every day, week in, week out to track when I arrive and when I leave work. It makes filling out time sheets a cinch. 10/10 would buy again.

I found geofency during one of my periodic app binges. While I love trying new apps, geofency surprised me with its lasting appeal. The interface is simple, attractive and incredibly intuitive to use. For example the prompts and process for merging two time stamps couldnt be more perfectly designed. Not everyone will care about a time logging app, but I dont think the NSA and commercial enterprises should have a monopoly on my location history. Having my own data set gives a degree of protection from potential abuse by those in positions of power. Its also nice having a digital scrap book of my history that updates itself (actively checking in takes my attention away from the place Im checking in to). If the app sounds interesting to you give it a try. Even though I have over 100 apps on my phone I have only made room on my home screen for one non-stock apple app: Geofency.

Been using this for two weeks and very impressed so far! Does not seem to negatively affect battery. Just set it up and forget about it. Much better than using the stopwatch apps.

I am a contractor and was having a tough time tracking the time I spent onsite at my client sites. This app has been an easy and effective solution. It lets you set a radius around a specific location, give that site a name, and logs the time you spend in that area. Exactly what I was looking for.

Wanted to love this app but its not reliable. I have it on 4 iPhones 2 iPhone 4 and 2 iPhone 5. It seems to work on the 4s but only works randomly on the 5s. In addition, there is no support for the app.

The webhooks and frequent location journaling make this perfect. Works great with all sorts of iBeacons.

The app does everything it says it will do. I would love to have an app that also kept track of my trips-- the route, the time, and the miles; but that is not this app.

This app is awesome! I have a hard time keeping track of how long whatever took, or when what was… Not only will this keep track of how long I spent where, it allows manual editing of "IN / OUT" events. Now, if only itd sync between my iPhone & iPad…

I have only used it for a week. But at this point I am pleased .

Geofency does a great job setting locations, even when theyre nearby. Im excited to try the iBeacon and webhook support!

Tons of improvements since I first got it. Great app.
